Privacy Policy

How OneDesq Origin collects, uses and protects your personal data, written in plain English and aligned with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable global standards.

The short version

We collect the minimum information needed to respond to your enquiry, run our coworking business and improve the website. We never sell your data. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing sales@onedesq.com.

1. Who we are

OneDesq Origin is a premium coworking and managed-office centre operated from 1st & 2nd Floor, S.P. Towers, 36, Lal Bahadur Shastri Nagar, Avinashi Road, Peelamedu, Coimbatore – 641 004, Tamil Nadu, India ("OneDesq", "we", "us", "our"). For the purposes of the DPDP Act, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below.

2. What data we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details, name, phone, email, WhatsApp number, company name, when you fill our contact form, WhatsApp us, email us or call us.
  • Enquiry details, team size, workspace type, intended start date, budget range and any free-text you share.
  • Member & billing information, if you become a member: GSTIN, billing address, photo ID (for visitor management), emergency contact, signed rental agreement.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data, pages visited, time on page, referrer, approximate location (city-level), device type and browser, via Google Analytics 4.
  • Marketing performance data, click attribution, conversion events, via Google Ads conversion tracking and standard UTM parameters.
  • Form-submission metadata, via HubSpot, which we use as our customer relationship management (CRM) platform.

3. How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry, schedule a tour, send a quote, answer questions.
  • To operate the coworking centre, issue access cards, invoices, GST documents.
  • To improve the website and our marketing, aggregate analytics, ad performance, content optimisation.
  • To meet legal obligations, tax records, GST filings, KYC if required.

We never sell your data to third parties. We do not run retargeting ads on adult, gambling or otherwise sensitive networks.

4. Who we share it with

  • Service providers, HubSpot (CRM), Google (Analytics & Ads), our hosting provider, our chartered accountant. Each is bound by their own data-processing terms.
  • Government authorities, if required by law (GST officers, court orders, valid legal requests).
  • Within OneDesq, only the sales, operations and finance teammates who need access to do their job.

5. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t convert, up to 24 months from last contact, then deleted.
  • Active member records, for the duration of your membership and 8 years after, to meet Indian tax-record requirements.
  • Analytics & ad data, Google’s default retention (currently 14 months for GA4 event data).

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act and equivalent regulations, you have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correct any inaccurate or outdated information.
  • Erase your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
  • Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of incapacity or death.
  • Grievance redressal, raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer (below) or escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

To exercise any of these rights, email sales@onedesq.com with the subject line "DPDP Request". We aim to respond within 7 working days.

7. Cookies & similar technologies

We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Essential, session cookies for the contact form and basic site functionality. Cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics, Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. Only loaded after you accept the cookie banner.
  • Marketing, Google Ads conversion pixel. Only loaded after you accept the cookie banner.

8. Children

OneDesq services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 except where a parent has booked a tour or service on their behalf.

9. Data security

We use industry-standard measures, HTTPS across the website, encrypted CRM, access-controlled member records, CCTV-monitored physical premises, to protect your data. No system is ever 100% secure; we will notify affected individuals and the Data Protection Board of any reportable breach within 72 hours.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged via a banner on the homepage. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
